Role: Director, Product

Work Location: Mumbai (Malad)


Roles & Responsibility:

  • Own end-to-end product execution including user stories, feature definition, delivery planning, task tracking, release readiness, and quality assurance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Business, Customer Success and Product stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and continuously increase product value through enhancements and new capabilities.
  • Translate user and market needs into product requirements by gathering inputs, defining scope, creating wireframes/prototypes, and driving timely launches in close collaboration with engineering.
  • Act as the internal product owner across all releases—supporting teams from discovery and development through launch, enablement, and post-sales adoption.
  • Use data to drive decisions by analysing product and customer performance, generating insights, and supporting customer-facing teams with reports, recommendations, and narratives that guide action.
  • Lead product discovery and validation processes including market research, feasibility analysis, solution evaluation, and coordination of development for iterative improvements.
  • Drive competitive and ecosystem intelligence by monitoring customer needs, industry trends, and partnership opportunities—translating insights into better features, improved performance, and stronger product positioning.
  • Bring strong Affiliate Marketing domain expertise, including tracking platforms, click and conversion measurement, reporting methodologies, network API integrations, and evolving industry standards.
  • Demonstrate solid technical understanding of tracking and data flows, including click-to-conversion attribution workflows, event/log pipelines, reconciliation, and data management practices for dashboards and reporting.
  • Combine business acumen, technical depth, and strategic vision to identify opportunities, define product direction, and lead innovation in a fast-moving AdTech environment.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to drive strategic initiatives, improve customer outcomes, and accelerate adoption and revenue impact.
  • Operate with ecosystem sensitivity—understanding the needs and incentives of multiple AdTech stakeholders (publishers, advertisers/brands, networks, and internal teams) and balancing them in product decisions.


Required Skills:

 

  • Independently with strong ownership, follow-through, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Also, a Master’s degree in MBA from a Tier-1 institute is preferred
  • 8+ years of Product management experience delivering web and mobile products and services
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of Product Managers/Product Analysts
  • Strong background building and scaling B2B / Enterprise SaaS digital products
  • Prior experience working on online advertising, AdTech, or performance marketing products and services is strongly preferred
  • Hands-on familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, including backlog ownership, sprint planning, and delivery governance.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, browser debugging concepts, databases, and related web technologies. (Hands-on coding is not required, but technical fluency is expected.)
  • Experience conducting or driving usability testing for web-based and mobile applications; ability to translate insights into actionable product improvements.
