Role Overview

You are a talented, intellectually curious product thinker who thrives at the intersection of technology and business. In this role, you will contribute to the product strategy and execution for AI-powered features within our Advertising and Monetization Products. You will partner closely with AI/ML engineers, product leaders, and engineering teams to translate emerging AI technologies into innovative solutions that drive measurable impact. This is a hands-on role where you will own projects end-to-end, from problem discovery through launch and iteration. You will have direct exposure to product strategy, customer conversations, and technical decision-making. Key Responsibilities

Product Discovery & Strategy:

  • Identify opportunities where AI/LLM technologies (agentic systems, RAG, semantic understanding, generative capabilities) can solve real customer problems in advertising and monetization.
  • Conduct customer research, interviews, and data analysis to validate product hypotheses; synthesize findings into clear product recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior product and engineering leaders to define requirements, scope features, and build the product roadmap.
  • Stay current with AI advancements; evaluate emerging models, techniques, and tools for potential application to AdTech use cases.

Hands-On Product Development:

  • Own the full development cycle for assigned projects: discovery, requirements gathering, PRD creation, user story specification, design collaboration, and launch.
  • Work directly with AI/ML engineers and backend teams to understand technical constraints, feasibility, and design trade-offs.
  • Create wireframes, flowcharts, and product specifications that clearly articulate feature behavior and user workflows.
  • Define success metrics and measurement frameworks; establish baseline expectations before launch and track performance post-launch.

Technical Engagement & Learning:

  • Develop practical proficiency with AI/LLM tools and frameworks: hands-on experimentation with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG implementations, and agentic workflows.
  • Understand how transformers, embeddings, context windows, and model selection impact product design and user experience.
  • Engage deeply with AI/ML engineers; ask sharp questions about model behavior, latency, cost, and edge cases.
  • Prototype and validate ideas independently; comfort writing prompts, running experiments, and iterating quickly.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work with engineering, design, data, and business teams to scope work, manage dependencies, and drive execution.
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders; represent customer needs to engineering teams.
  • Support GTM teams (sales, marketing, customer success) with product enablement and customer-facing messaging.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical planning, and product retrospectives; contribute thoughtfully to team decisions.

Required Experience & Skills

Educational & Professional Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical discipline (IIT or equivalent tier-1 institution strongly preferred).
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in one or more of: Product Management, Product Operations, or Technical Program Management.

Product & Business Thinking:

  • Strong foundational understanding of product development practices: user stories, requirements gathering, PRD writing, wireframing, and launch execution.
  • Ability to think quantitatively; comfort with metrics, data analysis, and translating insights into recommendations.

AI/LLM Technical Proficiency:

  • Hands-on familiarity with Large Language Models: practical experience using ChatGPT, Claude, N8N or similar tools; comfort experimenting with different prompts and techniques.
  • Active engagement with AI tools, frameworks, or APIs (OpenAI API, LangChain, HuggingFace, etc.); not just theoretical knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of how LLMs work: embeddings, tokenization, attention mechanisms, and why these matter for product design.
  • Comfort with technical ambiguity; ability to learn new AI concepts quickly and ask informed questions.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Excellent written communication; ability to articulate ideas clearly in PRDs, design docs, and presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; collaborative mindset without need for formal authority.
  • Ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences (engineers, business stakeholders, customers).
