The Role:
• Day-to-day account management of publishers across the search and domain ecosystem – creating and executing strategies to maximise revenue while interacting with publishers across the US, EU, Australia, and APAC.
• Being the liaison between Affinity’s global brand onboarding team, tech unit, finance teams, and the publishers to address integration issues, consulting on best practices, and enabling smooth, industry-leading monetization.
• Develop Processes, Measurement systems, dashboards, surveys – for everything related to Publisher success – presenting this data to global clients and internal stakeholders to devise strategies for growth.
• Manage publisher success pipeline in the CRM. Also closely monitor and update the CRM with significant development in deals and opportunity sizes.
• Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to evolve existing features and create new ones.
• Upsize existing deals, Up-sell new features and Cross-sell products to the Publishers.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to deploy any relevant strategies which help grow client retention – like running product update mailers, developing new/localized content, testimonial videos, webinars, whitepapers, etc.
• Collaborate with Product and Operations teams across Business Units to create new revenue streams Represent Affinity at industry events in Target Markets – speaking engagements and networking with exiting publishers.
What you’ll need to be successful:
• 1-3 years of experience doing business with publishers in digital media.
• Track record of managing have value deals and revenue target.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Driven, self-motivated, with an inclination towards learning and grasping new concepts. • Deep knowledge of the business models and technologies in digital publishing – like ad servers, endpoints (APIs, JS, SDK), pricing models, and deal structures.
• Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with sharp analytical skills and problem-solving ability. • Proficient in usage of entire MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel & Word) to create business models and deal simulation for the publishers.
• Good analytical skills (i.e., ability to decipher problems and growth areas from reports).
